Post radio Replacement

Hello!
I have a 85 Berlinetta with the digital dash and post radio. I NEED at least a cd headunit. Anybody there with some excellent suggestions on how to remove this radio and put in a GM standard or aftermarket (I like Pioneer) head unit. I can't even tell if the post radio works, as the wires to the antenna were cut (it looks like the antenna has been out of commission for a while).

Thanks!

Joe

Here you go -----

I always recommend leaving the Berlinetta radio's in place to keep the uniqueness of the car intact....... Just install a CD changer in the hatch well !!!

*** If you decide to get rid of the radio - let me know.

Here is a picture of an aftermarket head-unit installation......

This thing is just a normal aftermarket housing used for adding an EQ or CD system to a "Regular" car. In This case - It has been turned upside down and mounted on the berlinetta center console once the factory head unit was removed.

Stores like Best Buy usually carry these things.
