What CD players are the same size as stock?

I know Pioneer makes a CD player for GM cars that is the same dimensions as stock and I was looking for something that isn't so small like most aftermarket cd players. What other ones are out there?

I know this, but that defeats the purpose of why I even want a stock sized cd player.

The ones I've seen the same size as stock look too overised and have big displays, would be good if you have bad eyesight.

I'm unsure of whether the above Alpine (model CDA-D855) is still available.

mostly all third gen cars have 2 din sized stereos and companies only make like one or two brands of 2 din sized radios but your best bet would just be to get a din sized or 1.5 din sized radio and just buy the radio bracket and everyting will fit perfect and there are a **** load more choices that you would have for a cd player

3rd-gen, and as a matter of fact all GM's use a Din and a half size radio. Thats the size to make it bolt in, other you need a kit to put a head unit in of another size.

No ... thirdgens use a 1.5 din. A double din is commond on most foreign cars like toyotas and such, and newer fords. I know my ranger has a dd sized stock radio. This is with my Pioneer HU and adapter kit.

You are right about the adapter thing. A single din is most common, cheaper, and has so many varietys.
-Alpines 1.5 dins are hard to find, last i head they were discontinued and most online stores were out.
-Pioneer ones are overpriced. A single din pioneer with the exact same features is considerably less costly.
-Audiovox has one ... but i wouldn't buy that or the Jensen one. I beleive Jensen had one, but I cant remember.

I used a single din on my old bird, and made a flush mounting plate for it.
