Need some help wiring in amp

I just bought a new Sony Xplod CDX-GT110 head unit. I have noticed that on the rear of the head unit there are no RCA jacks. Well my amp (a 70watt x2 Malibu) only has rca inputs. Are there a set of wires in the harness that I can wire my amp to? I'm really in a bind with this. I was told that the RCA jacks that come on head units are tuned to the low frequency of the head unit, and that if I had to wire the amp anywhere else I would be forcing a high frequency through my subs. Is this true? I'm hoping I won't need to buy a new head unit or a crossover because I really can't afford to put any more into the audio. The amp will be powering one JL audio 10" 10W1-8 sub. I was told the amp would sound very nice on this speaker, since I am not looking for ground-pounding bass, thats why I have a flowmaster
.Any help is much appreciated!

Not a good way to do it but you can buy a scosche line level adapter which I just happen have 2 for sale. What you would do is hook the speakers wires to the wires on this unit which will give you rca jacks to plug into. One of the selling points when I buy a HU is no if you have rca out but how many. 3 is a good amount also you want to have like a 4volt or more which gives a cleaner signal. Highest Ive seen is a 8volt pre out. Can you return the hu? I was lookingat circuit city and for a little more youcould get an eclipse hu with 2 5 volt rca outs or even check some of the other units. I wouldnt get anything jensen or audiovox. I see all the jvc have rca pre outs and are in the similiar price range;

I wish I would have kept the box now lol....
So my best bet as of right now would be to get the "scosche line level adapter" ?

Since you dont have rca out from the ampo thats whats the scosche does. It connects your speakers wires to the scosche which turn provides rca out to hook up to an amp.The unit also has adjustments on there as to the level you want. Again this is difinatly not the best way to go but will work for low voltage amp. The best converter is mad by PAC.Those converters go for I thought about $25 to $30 were as the scosche is like $10 -15. Your best bet is like I said earlier is take that head unit back unless you cantr and buy one with rca outs for each channel. Also the higher the voltage on trhe pre out the better because that helps with the clarity of the signal.

your amp
where the rca's plug into your amp there should be some smaller holes like where the remote wire hooks up those are high gain inputs so you can hook speaker wires from the head unit and it will convert it to rca's unless you amp dosent have these then i would do what the other guy said about the scohshe
