I am not sure about what amp you want to go with but the subs are very good. what amp you want to push them depends on what impeadence speaker you get. Just ask someone at the business you are looking at the subs to find you something that will push one of them .

The 81000D is an awesome amp.. but
make sure you follow the warning instructions inside.. I called MTX and they told me you HAVE to use 0/1 gauge wire.
Fuse it. cuz the amp isn't. and mtx told me not to use 4 gauge.. and I have to beef up my alternator before I actually hook it up.
I'm not going to go into why you shouldnt use 4 gauge besides thef act that MTX says.. cuz that sucked.. but love those store performance gurantees.. got a new one.. hahaha

I have a 12" 7000 same thing as the 8000. It sounds very good but needs a box around 1.25-1.5 cubic feet to sound its best. I only had about 175 watts running to it but would recommend atleast 300 watts rms running it. You don't need that 1000d to run it.
