The trans am i bought came with boston acustic 4x6s in the dash and in the back (acompanied by infinity 3 1/2s) should I pull these speakers in the back and put in 6x9s or leave them? I cant tell how they sound exactly i havent installed my head unit yet (the old owner hard wired, **** ) that makes it a pain. But in theory would the 2 speaker set up sound as good? better? ****? If i replace them Im gonna put my cerwin vega stealth 6x8s there untill I can pick up some kappa 6x9s... I dunno what ya think?

 

Well, it will probably sound alright (quality speakers), but you will have pretty much no bass and limited midbass if those are the only speakers you have in there. Also, you may have trouble running 6 speakers off your head unit (unless you plan to use a seperate amp).

ok heres another question, I have these 4 3way cerwin vega stealths and i really like them with an rms of 50 onem they sound really good (probelry powered) has anyone had anyluck fitting 5x7/6x8s in the dash? Would it be horrible to pull up those dash grills and then just get some grills to go over them? And as for the rear what do you think pull out the 2 that are in there and put in my 5x7/6x8s untill i get a pair of 6x9s? also if i got a 200 watt 4 channel amp as in 50x4 would it be ok to hook that up to the 2 in the dash and 2 in sail pannels even if the rms on the ones in the sales is somin like 70? I dunno im just debating different ideas in my head. I havent even got into kicks yet...

One last thing, I wanna try and get into some fiberglassing, how much more preperation would there be if i wanted to pait or dye the glass to match my car...
