i guess the proper fitting that goes into the carb PN#8131 is backed up. i've been waiting for (no kidding) a month and a half for that and PN#8123 arrive. i've yet to start it with rubber line.

If I hadn't just pulled the engine out of my car I'd go out and take a picture. What details are you looking for?

That depends a lot on your intake. On something dimensionally similar to stock, like a regular Performer, you could probably run the stock cable brackets without any modification, or maybe with just a little bending. For anything taller, you'll need a different bracket. There doesn't seem to be anything available on the market that's a proper direct bolt-on solution though. There are a number of "universal-fit" cable brackets that can be made to work reasonably well, from companies like Spectre, Transdapt, etc., although they tend to be lightly constructed and are prone from flexing.

My car was originally tpi, but i have a spectre bracket and it works pretty darn good except for the slight flexing of the bracket. Its nice that its adjustable, worked for the 1406 i had on it to break the cam in, also works good with my holly DP650. Then again i have a really stiff return spring since i have an aftermarket throttle cable that isn't teflon lined, so i have a stiff pedal, so thats probably why it moves a little. I paid 21.99 for mine at autozone.

The only thing you really have to watch for with the flexing is that you can't adjust the TV cable the way the books tell you to do it. The bracket will give a fair bit before there's enough tension for the TV cable mechanism to self-adjust.
