Re: tbi convert to carb
well that depends... are you going with a 82-87 carb setup? or are you going with a non electronic aftermarket setup... your TBI is computer controlled, so if you are going to go with an aftermarket setup, then you will need to replace your distributor to a vacuum advance system... you will have to install a fuel pressure regulator in order for your TBI fuel pump to work with your carb setup, ... there are other things you will have to do as far as wiring goes... but probably something you should be able to do with a diagram...

Re: tbi convert to carb
im wanting to go with a high rise intake with a 4 bbl carb and considering a mallory fuel regulator and i want to get rid of all the computer wires but im not sure what problems that will make. i want the simplest convert because this is my daily driver and i dont have access to a garage to work little by little.

Re: tbi convert to carb
You will also need a Transmission Torque converter lock up, I believe it's computer controlled on your 'maro.... just be patient someone with better info will come along and point you in the right direction...
