Stock air cleaner fit aftermarket carbs?
As I think about an aftermarket carb, I was wondering if the stock L69 air cleaner housing fits on aftermarket carbs. Most of them seem a little longer front to back. For instance, the average dual inlet center-hung float type carb, they seem to be physically larger than most. I'd like to retain the stock appearance with dual snorker cold air system. thanks,
Pete

None of the OE air cleaners will fit over a dual feed Holley. I have an L69 air cleaner, and it doesn't work on top of any of the dual feed Holleys I've used. Not sure about the single feed Holleys or Edelbrock carbs though.

OK, thanks for the info, I thought it looked like it would be tight.
