82 carbed z28 hood issues help plz?

Engine: 350
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 3.73 factory
82 carbed z28 hood issues help plz?
with my intake and hood a 14inch aircleaner wont fit under the stock hood i would like to run a cold air intake sorta to the driver side battery slot.
I know they make them but cant find it its a 90 degree that fits ontop of a carb then u can run ur hose off of it to a air filter i cant fint one ive seen a 14inch duel setup but thats still to big.
has anyone else have the issue with the 82-84 hoods? what did u do?
if pics are needed i can take some anyhelp would be great thx

Spectre makes "carb hats", but in order to fit under a stock hood, you need to use the reduced height version, which don't flow as well as the full height versions.

BTW, drop base 14x3 air cleaners fit under a stock hood.

i have the 14 inch round filter and it it a drop base and it does not clear the prev owners cur a hole in the hood i got another hood but i need a solution.
the spectra 90 degree whould that plug up the motor to much and rob power?
