TBI to carb swap info needed
well I want to convert ,,,, correct me if I am wrong ,,,, plan is to use TBI gas tank ,,,change the sending unit to mechanical fuel pump sending unit ,,,one issue I am not sure of is the distributor ,,,,can a TBI dizzy be used or will need hei dizzy with the module and in cap coil ?? the motor in the car was swapped out with a k1500 350 ci has headers ,,,no cat,,edlebrock intake ,,,edlebrock air cleaner ,,,,but has a bolt in cover where the mechanical pump mounts not sure of motor year etc ,,,just bought the car ,,,,car currently with tbi will only run with starting fluid ,,,previous owner ,,,,had the tps,iac,ect,injectors and harness replaced chasing down the issue not sure if theres oxygen sensors in headers yet ,,, I think fuel pump ,,,, anyhow want to eliminate electronics ,,,any help appreciated thanks guys

You could buy an msd set up with a small cap for extra room, if you dont like the big cap hei

thanks for the help guys ,,,,see how the big cap works ,,,,, restrorob ,,,, reason why I wanted a mechanical pump ,,,,so wouldn't have to drop tank to replace fuel pumps ,,,, I am lazy like that ,,,, could always set up a external electric pump etc ,,,but working on a budget ,,,seeing just bought just wanna get it running and test drive it see if theres any other issues ,,,thanks again
