hey guys trying to find out what carburetors i can purchase that are usable in california as well as intake manifold an headers! everything on the engine is stock an original thanks for your replies!

Only the factory CC-QJet is legal. You can upgrade to a Performer intake with EGR, but that's your only choice over stock. Not sure how many emissions-legal headers are still being produced for the 3rd gens (they have to have the AIR tubes installed), but I recall using emissions-legal Hooker 2055s. Don't quote me on the part number- it's been a long time.

I WOULD recommend that you upgrade to a larger 3" exhaust system, as opposed to the pea-shooter 2-1/4" system your car came with from the factory. LG4 305 exhausts are total crap from the manifolds to the tailpipes. That means you want 3" y-pipe, 3" cat and 3" cat back system. Just buy a system designed for a same-year TPI engine.

thank you an yes i will be upgrading to 3'' exhaust just looking for headers if possible an all that im not to car savy but if i get pointed in right direction on what parts as examples i can pretty much go from there so if u have any suggetions id appreciate it alot

If you have the Q-Jet rebuilt, make sure to have the throttle shaft bore checked.

ty an thats been taken care of already im just trying to find parts for it thats legal in cali an hoping peoples input will direct me in the right way since the car is all stock
