I'm trying to get motor running. I went to a hot rod forum that explained which wires to cut out the computer control. Changed wiring as they stated. the motor won't start. The motor will try to start, but stops like no power to ignition. The other thing is they say to hook computer spark control lead and hook the pink wire directly to the dist. cap. I've got two pink wires that go to the modual . Not sure which to change. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Have you installed a vacuum-advance distributor? You'll need one to run without the computer...
