85 camaro with 650 edlebrock sputtering
Hey guys, so my camaro just started doing this. Starts and idles. The idle has a slight sputter, when i put it in drive it idles pretty low and sputters. When im accelerating the sputter gets louder with the rpms. Cap and rotor havent been replaced since i got the car at 180k mi im at 210k right now. Plugs and wires have been replaced. Mech fuel pump replaced a while ago. Carb and timing tune up done before winter. Weird thing is this problem occured yesterday and this morning i popped the hood and i have a fuel filter right before the carb and one end was leaking so i replaced the fitting and no more leak. A couple hours ago i added marvels mysterious oil to is because i saw good results from it and that didn't work at all. What could it be??? Any info is much appreciated!!

Cap rotor and while you are in there do the plugs

So cap and rotor are in good condition, not perfect but alright. Plugs are the same they are in good condition but are getting close to replacement. Recently took it to a shop and the mechenic said its my cam. The lobes on the camshaft are getting flat so its not running right

Cam going flat that sucks, I would stop driving it until it is fixed and also probably go roller in the process
