As I have mentioned I have a 89 Vert still coming from USA to New Zealand. I need to replace all the headlights as they need to dip the otherway due to us driving on the correct side of the road .
Can someone please advise of the dimensions of the standard headlights as I need to match them up with something over here. I need height, width, depth etc of lights not the brackets just the glass lens as I will still use the mounting brackets> Also can you please advise of wattage of bulbs as I will go with Artic Blue bulbs.

 

From what I've seen......Wouldn't the location of the springs & adjusting screws just switch sides?

Or is the fluting in the bulb lenses a different pattern, for LHD cars? Meaning you'd need "LHD drive" bulbs?

 

I think you might try the Simca lights. I am in Australia and that is what I have been told. There is a Bosch that will work but pretty expensive. Also, let me know how you go with the Arctic Blue. Ron

 

The lights need to be for New Zealand as when you dip your lights the beams go to the right where as over here the beams go to the left. so they need to replaced completely.
I had the Artic Blues in my 86 Camaro and they looked awesome and were great for night driving but I can't remember the size of the lenses and my new car arrives next month so want to buy everything so I all ready to go.

 

if nobody replies with sizes. I just took mine out to paint my headlight buckets black. So I will grab one and my calipers and get some pictures and measurments for you.

Yes. Both are identical & not sold as a Left/Right specific. The same bulb with fit both sides.

DOH! I gave you MY dimensions...Firebirds have different sized bulbs than Camaros. Sorry about that. I'll Edit my post above.

Yours are H4656 bulbs.....6.8 x 5.1 x 4.4 inches
