Axle/Gears: 3.42
Vert aftermarket audio gear mount in trunk.
Just finished today.

Cut a board, painted it and mounted it across the back of the tonneau "frame" to the chassis. Came out pretty good. That's a 10" Bazooka sub in the trunk bottom. Old but trusty amps and a new crossover.

Nice work, old school amps too.Kinda like what i did with my 6x9s.I had a 8" tube in the same spot with my amps on top, but nowhere to put my spare.So the tube is out and a cerwin vega 10" encloser is in there now.

My trunk install. 2 x 8" subs ported into car are located under the amps

That doesn't affect the top when it's down or get in its way?

No, it's completely clear of the top and the wires hide behind it but you can get to them from the top's side if needed. These trunks are already so small.

Should fit its only a 12" sub, should also work w/out the spare inplace.If you get it, post up.

Is that a E30 KX Sub? That's the sub I was planning on using in my system, very nice setup! Are those crossovers in the driver-side cubbie?

The spare tire does'nt even fit in the damn well.At least nothing bigger than a 14" spare.The sub does fit in my 17" GTO spare though.Bass is a good compromise between a sub box and small woofers.Not too much thumping, which i fine with me, i got past that years ago.

Ahh okay... I still want the thump so I'm glad the stereo shop talked me out of getting one of these! I'm definitely going to go with a proper high power sub. Appreciate the review!

I can see why this would be great for other people though.

I still have my old school 12" dual voice coil cerwin vegas.In case i ever find a way to mount them out of the way in a vert.
