What is this attached to the radiator?
What is the thing with a wire harness attached to my radiator halfway down on the cap side?

I have a '88 GTA.

No it's not the relay. It is physically plugged into the radiator.

Got any pics? That would make it easier to figure out. Especially if it's not the relay.

It is a low coolant probe. GMSPO supplies replacement radiators with that fitting even if the vehicle was not so equipped. If there is a wire there you should have a light that comes on to indicate a low coolant condition.
