Sensor coming out of radiator??? TPI engine

I have an 88 GTA Trans Am with an automatic 350 TPI. I noticed on the passengers side of my radiator it looks like there is a sensor or something plugged into it. It looks like maybe a wire used to go to it,but i cant find it. The sensor thingy has what looks like blade or male type connector for something like a female connector. Anyone have any clue what this thing coming out of the radiator is,and should it be hooked up....Thanks...Al in NJ

There was a post on the board recently concerning this sensor. It is a coolant low level sensor and is not used on all vehicles even though the port is on the radiators. On mine which is a 89 Iroc, there is a brass plug screwed into this port. There is nothing to worry about if it is not connected to anything and there probably isn't a connector there anyway. BTW, it is not neccessary to post the same thread in multiple forums.
