Thermostats
Im not the king of thermostats but are there some that have a bypass letting coolant flow, whether it has opened or not? Are these good to use or no?

They do exist. Some people just drill holes in a standard thermo to get the same effect. I cant really think of a benifit. Your car would take slightly longer to reach operating temperature though.

A benefit for drilling holes in the 'stat? I can think of one, thats about it. It cuts down on air pockets forming just below the stat after you replace it.
