92 formula more overheating problems

ok guys i need some help, i have a 92 firebird formula 5.0 and the radiator fan died so i bought some badass dual red 12'' fans from ebay and now my car overheats, thats what i get for buying somthing just because it looks cool, anyway the cfm rating is 1500 for each fan i only paid $37 for both new i just put a new 160f thermo i am also runing some cleaner in the radiator, i just need to know if it makes sence to anyone that 2 12'' fans move less air then a 14'' fan

any input is welcome i have been known to have dumbass attacks

Re: 92 formula more overheating problems

Did you wire them properly with 2 relays? Are they mounted properly and pulling air thru the rad to the engine compartment?

My advice is to buy the proper fan to replace your worn out stock unit and be happy again.
Send the Ebay stuff back, sell to a r i c e r or throw it away.
