Beep, beep! CLOWN alert....

Paid some clown $540 in Feb of 2014 to replace my heater core, and lately the windshield has been fogging up again, it started doing it real bad today and it was 84* here. Clown. At the time, I had just gotten the car, knew very little about thirdgens, and had a puddle of coolant in my floorboard with no heat in the dead of winter, so I had to get it done. He put in an aluminum core, which has NEVER heated the car the way stock brass cores do. I now know where I can get a stock style brass core for $42, so I'm going with that unless some genius on here can come up with any reason whatsoever that my windshield would fog up on an 84* day with the heat turned off? I'm doing it MYSELF this time, I'm not afraid to tackle it. If I can get that top screw out, I'll be ok, and I have the feeling I will find a way to get it out. (Although I'm tempted to take the entire dash down anyway to find that stupid squeak that's driving me bat crap crazy every moment.....) Just goes to show you, "if you want something done right....." Clowns, these mechanics are absolute clowns, is there ANYONE that does good work and stands by it anymore? The only reason I might not go give this guy a slice is the off chance that the engine itself gummed up the new core. Highly doubt it, but it's not impossible. Clowns.
