Reconnect heat and ac

Hi, I have kind of an unusual question.

I'm looking at a 91 Z28 where the guy did some work and it's basically a street/strip car.

From what I can see, he took out the heat and ac completely. When I hit the switch in the car to turn on fan etc, nothing happens.

What's involved in reconnecting that stuff? Is it likely he replaced the radiator or just blocked it off? Give me the best or worst case scenario before I buy this.

For reference I'm not really concerned with AC but I need heat and more specifically defrost, for our cool summer evenings when I might drive it.

Re: Reconnect heat and ac

Best case it's all still there and just needs to be reconnected. Not a huge job.

"Worst" case is the blower box and all hardware are gone and covered by a simple block off plate, radiator replaced and heater core removed from dash and you need to find all that and then reconnect everything. Significantly bigger job.

"Worst worse" case the holes in the firewall for the blower and ducting have been covered permanently and you would need to cut new holes in the firewall to be able to even put a new blower box in place along with all of the above "worst" case things.

You'll have to hold your car up closer to your monitor so we can see what all they hacked out of it, and how. I can't see it clearly right now.

As said, all you have to do is figure out what they hacked out, get another, fix whatever they damaged in the process if anything, and put it all back. Pretty straightforward really.
