correct thread?
i donno if this is the correct thread but what is really involved with tuning? it seems like every time u add a new part you have to tune your computer. i have a 91 camaro rs with a lo3 anyone give me a hand?

Your point is basically true for a carb machine also. New parts that hopefully add performance require different fuel and possibly timing, etc.
With an ecm it is a little bit easier. The reason is that you can get a datalog from the computer, which you can use to determine exactly what fuel adjustments to make. Timing adjustments are basically still the same though because the ecm doesn't tune timing... that's all up to you. However, there are enough experts in the place to answer about any question and even look at your bin...
Go to the DIY PROM board and read the stickies a few times to get a idea how it all works.
