Crank Fuel PW vs Bosch-III's
Interesting… I’ve been reading about cranking issues with Bosch-III injectors. While mine seemed to start ok with the factory ANHT settings and my Bosch-III's, I decided to play around with it a little to see what would happen.
What I found was that a 50% reduction in the Crank Fuel PW vs Coolant table generated a pretty good improvement (leaving everything else alone).
Given the higher flow at low PW's for these Bosch-III’s, it seems to make sense that reducing the crank fuel PW values would help (probably was getting too much fuel delivered during cranking).

Left ANHT. Right is my modified version... (basically just scaled the whole table down by 0.5)

BTW, what do you guys define as "long" crank times?
I mean, mine certainly isn't one click and "VROOOOM"....
When first starting up cold, it cranks for may be 1 to 2 seconds and then starts right up. To me that's pretty good... seems to match my daily driver and my wife's car. But I'm not sure what a factory fresh TPI Camaro is supposed to be...

My 89 with Bosch IIIs had a long crank time. 3-7s. I hated it. Tuned Performance made some changes to the stock 89 tune to compensate. Not sure if they were related to the IIIs or just the 89 PROM. Takes 2 revolutions of the engine or less to start now.
