7730 expansion port?

Pulled the cover off a 7730 today, and couldn't help but notice a card edge connector. I wasn't previously aware there was another connector. Did a search, didn't find anything. Just curious, what the port is for?

For booking up a ebl p4 lol , I’m sure it’s hooked to the memcal header and to some outputs.

GM used the service port for the development and calibration engineers. They had/have a HUD unit that plugged in and was used to change the calibration on the fly. Not like today, it was ***** and switches along with some displays.

The Turbo P4 document has a section on it.
