I want to ditch the stock PROM. But what do i need to do??? I have a 1991 305 TPI Trans AM. NO major modifications that would require a custom prom? I hear hypertech and ADS are junk...what road do i take.....

Start by reading Traxion's article on EPROM burning and follow every link in the article, including to Bruce Plecan's (Grumpy) Tuning Tips, ECMGUY and DIY_EFI. All excellent sources of information and last, but not least, set the "Show Topics" for 1 year and read all the oldest post (from oldest to most recent)...a lot of "newbie" questions were asked (and answered) in the beginning. 99% of all the question you may have, have all been asked and answered already, and probably quite a few that you never even thought of.
