I need a Tuner Pro crash course

ok. So my buddy's Camaro has a vats problem and the module is bad. So I need to shut off vats. I've already made a few changes in the program. I understand what I am looking at. I have burnt many chips and done tuning in the past. I have a burn 2 and an emulator. I have down load the files I need and he has a prom converter on the way. We will be using the 512 chips.
Here is the question. I don't see a burn button, or one to pull the file off a chip. Or am I just missing something here and just blind? Other programs I've used the burn 2 just plugged right in and I pull files or burn them through the program I am using. Do I need another program to burn the chip after it is created and have saved the file/bin? Also Can I read the old chip? I don't see a button for this either.
Thanks.

Re: I need a Tuner Pro crash course

I believe you need separate software to program the chip.

TunerPro can erase and flash the chips it's under like hardware utilities or something. At least that's how it is with the Autoprom.

You can use this instead of through tp. Watch your burn offsets moates has offsets listed for file size.

okay, thanks. I'll look again tonight. Maybe I am just blind, cause I didn't see anything. If I have anymore questions I'll post here.

Re: I need a Tuner Pro crash course

Ok I guess that's not an option in TunerPro - you have to download the RT edition. That seems odd because burning chips isn't a "Real Time" operation. But there ya go!
