Relocating Battery......Wiring Trouble

I disconnected the battery and was about to remove the positive wire from the starter and there is like five wires coming of of the battery cable, how would I go about wiring this. Would I just keep it on starter with the new battery wire? Please help thanks

Yes. Just remove the old positive wire and replace with the new one, leaving all the other wires still there.

The positivr cable has about 5 other wires coming off it. If i disconnect it then the altenator and other wires wont get any power. Right? so I was thinkin just leave the old one on there with the new one so the altenator and others get power

Well I would recommend cutting all of the other wires off of the old positive cable, and crimping on some new "ring" ends. Otherwise that cable could come in contact with something else and cause a electrical short nightmare.
