Some of my power options no longer work; door locks, dome(courtesy) light, trunck switch, cigarette lighter, and map lights (on rear view mirror). I dunno what happened, but one day they ALL stoped working. I checked my fuses and found one blown. It was the courtesy light fuse (20 amp). When I replace it, EVERYTHING works again but then the fuse blows a minute later and sometimes it blows as soon as I make a connection. I kept changing it and after the 5th time, I left it alone. There was also a faint smell of something burning (electrical). I hope I didn't mess anything up. And I didn't see any smoke either. I need some help. Thanks.

Try leaving the cigarette lighter out. Sometimes they short out or something can fall in and short the socket out. Had it happen to me once. Hope this helps.

I would tackle this problem by disconnecting everything that is on that fuse. Have plenty of fuses on hand and connect one item at a time and put another fuse in. If the fuse doesn't blow, reconnect another item and so on. After you blow the fuse the first time, you know what it is. Process of elimination is my only resource at times. Good luck in finding the problem, it might be easier than you think!
