Need help installing MSD ignition QUICK!

Alright, normally I'm pretty good at figuring this stuff out, so I feel dumb. Now that my pride has been killed...I found what appeared to be close to my set up in the MSD install instructions. I conencted it all up, and got in the car to fire it up. It cranked and cranked, but wouldn't even pop to start. I checked for spark off the coil...none. I am not sure if I have it conencted right though. My distributer has 2 connectors. One w/ 4 wires, one w/ 2 wires. The one w/ 2 wires used to run to the coil from the distributer. They are pink and white. In the MSD instructions, I found my coil, and found the pink and white wires. It said to run it's orange and black wires to the coil, and to watch polarity. The pink wire would serve as the 12 volt switched line to the MSD 6 series box, and the white wire in there should go to the white wire on the MSD, which should be the firing control. I did this, and have no spark. Unfortunatly, between college and work, I have very little time to work on this thing. I need an answer soon! ( I have class at 10:10 tomorrow, and work at 4:00) I will probably end up having to skip class... Help guys!
Thanks
Corry

Here's how it should be hooked up:

Large red wire: Connect to the + terminal on the battery - a convenient place to hook it up may be the large lug on the alternator.

Large black wire: Connect to a good chassis ground.

Orange wire: Connect to the coil where the pink wire USED to go - orange should be the only wire on that coil terminal, now.

Small black wire: Connect to the coil where the white wire used to go - should be the only wire on that coil terminal, now.

Small red wire: Connect to the large pink wire that used to go the the coil.

White wire: Connect to the white wire coming from the distributor, that used to go to the coil.

Also, connect the pink wire from the distributor, that used to go to the coil, to the pink wire that used to go to the coil (where you connected the MSD small red wire).

Also, if you have a factory tach, there should be a white wire that used to go from the coil, back up into the harness. Connect that white wire to the tach output on the MSD (spade terminal on the side of the box). If you have a factory tach filter, (round object bolted to the fire wall, behind the distributor) remove it & connect the MSD tach output directly to the white wire that goes up into the harness.
