Fuel Pump
Fuel Pump
Tried this on the carb board with no response, maybe better luck here.
IF I convert from TBI to Carb, then remove the ECM and Chip, will the fuel pump continue to work as it did before? ie.. with the key on, and so forth.
Its on a 92 RS was tbi, now carb.

You will need to retain the fuel pump relay and the fuel pump oil pressure switch (located within the oil pressure gauge sending unit). The fuel pump relay is normally controlled by the ECM, but you will need to connect it to the start circuit, in your application. Connect the dark green / white wire from the fuel pump relay to the purple wire going to the starter solenoid. In this configuration, the relay will power the fuel pump during cranking, and the fuel pump oil pressure switch, which parallels the fuel pump relay contacts, will power the fuel pump while the engine is running (oil pressure > 4 psig).
