If you are going to keep the Holley, then you need a non-computer controlled distributor. Your car will not run right without it. Reason being, the ECM will be looking for certain data that the old computer controlled carb gave it. Without this data, the computer will be telling the distributor to act wierd, therefore making your car run like total crap. Its hard to explain but believe me.

You can get a non-CC distributor form anywhere, Junk Yard or whatever. Just make sure its in good shape. Once you install the dist., you wont need the ECM anymore, at this point its useless anyways. The only other thing you might have to do is rig up a switch to manually turn on you fans (if electric), or wire them up so they come on when the car is turned On.

Hope this helps, or maybe its something you didnt want to hear. Also, give us some more info on the car, Old carb, motor (LG4?), tranny (I'm guessing 700R4), Torque converter (locking, non-locking), etc... You might get more help on the tranny board also.
