Need a little advice
I bought a Led Air Fuel Guage from summit. It came in the mail yesterday. I was looking at the directions and it seems straight forward. Red 12+, Black Ground, Gray oxygen Sensor.
Here is my question. Do I have to get the gray wire from the sensor itself or can I get it as it goes into the computer? I looked in my Manual and it said that wire D7 (purple)was the sensor. Should I grab it there or at the sensor itself? Also Where can I get a 12 volt positive that is only on when the ignition is?

I just installed mine today as well I got power from my cd player and all you need to do for the Sensor I just splice into just before the connector to the Sensor (not the sensor side) I did mine just like 2-3 inches befor the Conector
It all worked out fine

I ran it threw a hole in the fire wall (much easier that way) just underneath the Power Brake Booster and all that... and then put it in a Loom and ran it to the "Black" wire just before the connector
