Firewall holes

The only hole in the firewall that i've been able to use for wiring has been the hole just over the brake pedal.

However, I would like to wire an amp to my stereo, and i need to run a 10 gauge wire to the trunk. Where can the wire be routed? I am not sure of where holes in the firewall can be drilled either.

I basically would like to know if anyone has used any other holes in the firewall, because frankly, i'm stumped.

Joe

I drilled a new hole in mine for my stereo wire. I drilled it just under the edge of the carpet toward the middle, which puts it out below the gauge stuff on the drivers side.
Hope this helps..

What was on the engine side of the hole?
