ok...if i put the key to ON and jump the solenoid with a screwdriver it will run, but i cant start it with the key. Its NOT vats, i have it bypassed, and if it WERE vats it would not start from jumping the solenoid.

all my lights work and car runs but it wont start car! this all happened after installin my hooker Long Tubes (had to remove brake booster, which required workin under dash)( i could have moved/loosened a wire)
anyone know what it could be?
i also have a autopage alarm, does it have a starter kill?
i also have a loose connection on the solenoid iwth the wires, im wokrin on tightening it up, but the headers are in the way.

look for a purple wire (or yellow, cant remeber but it is thicker than the rest). try giving 12 volts to that wire and see if your starter kicks

 

everyone is gonna ream me, but it was just a loose starter wire, the small one.
