What color is the hood light wire?
What color is the hood light wire?

I'm putting a 350 in a car that had no motor or tranny, and am trying to figure out what color the hood light wire is, and does it come from the passenger or drivers side?

Don't know the side but I think it's red or red with a white stripe.

on my 84 it appears to be black with red stripe and larger diameer like 16 guage, at leats insulatin is heavier anyways.

On mine it's on the passenger side in the corner closest to the windshield.

It's a thick red 10 gauge wire.

16 gauge isn't generally considered "larger diameter"
