A/C Help
I have a minor problem with my A/C. The compressor will not turn off with the switch in the car. The clutch is not frozen, it is disengaged if the connector is removed. If I remove the A/C Fuse, there is still power to the clutch. If I remove the Choke Heater and The A/C fuse, all power is removed from the clutch connector. I replaced the throttle kicker relay, where the choke heater and the A/C both have power. The diode across the clutch connector appears to also be bad. I don't think this is the problem though. Anyone with ideas, please respond. I am hoping for common components, and search for a short in the wire bundle won't be fun. Removing the connector from the low press switch also does not turn off the compressor.
