conversion on 84 TA
I am in the process of converting my 84 TA(L69 305 V8, 4bbl) to a vaccume HEI system, and a non computer controlled Q-jet. Ive been trying to figure out which wire to pull out or not to pull ! Any one have a good guide line for which wire to pull or not ? I also pulled out the EGR and fresh air induction system. I wish to keep all other goodies on the car.

Axle/Gears: 3.08/ 3.23
Pull for what ? Older HEI's only need 1 power wire to work.
The rest od the ECM stuff will not work w/o the ECM,, what were you expecting to keep when you say 'goodies' ?
