I am going to install a Hornet alarm system into my 89 bird. My key resistance value is 6.03 ohms. Is this an actual GM value? I know someone had a list of the actual values, they or whome ever check this with the list? I know it has to be +- %10 of the GM rating so i would like to get it as close as possible.

Well, its amazing what you can find on the 'net!! I even have the acceptable max and min values.

Does anyone have the complete wiring diagram for an 89 car? That would make my life SO much easier when i install this beast.

 

don`t have wiring,butneed your help. I`ve only been trying to get vats values so I can bypass,since I lost my only key!!!! so If you no where or have the values I would maybe be able to drive my 91 camaro again!
