I have MAJOR problems

Ok I have and HEI distributor and a holley carb, so my car is not computer controlled. The fan has its own littile wiring by me as does the fuel pump. I cut ALL the wires coming out of the passenger side fender and ALL the wires coming out of the box that I attached a picture of. The alternator is putting out 15 volts and is in good condition. To the best of my knowledge the battery is good, but you never know. When I charge my bettery and leave the car alone it will keep its 12 volts. When I drive around though the alternator is not charging the battery. With the healights on and everything the battery will go dead pretty quick - it has 3 times now. What did I cut that I should not have. The alternator wires are all in tact. The battery cables are good. What is wrong, what do I need to do? Can I just run the some wire directly somewhere, it doesn't have to be exaclty how it came stock - I will fix that later.
THANKS

You do have a computer even though your car came stock with a carb. The computer controls Spark advance (The HEI distributor) and EGR. That thing you have an arrow to is your map sensor.

This may help you if you just want to rewire the alt.

Brody,
Just run a 10 gauge wire from the back of the alt to the pos of the battery. Also you can run the red wire from the plug (that plugs into the alt) to the post on the back of the alt.
