Another Electric Rear Hatch Problem

The other day I was playing football with some friends and I opened up the rear hatch so that we could listen to some music while we played. Well I came back and tried to close the hatch but it wont close. The motor mount thing that comes up to pull the hatch down is stuck at the bottom. So I checked the fuse and the one named "LID" or something like that was blown, so I put in a new fuse but nothing works. When I push the button in the rear of the actual latch part the light goes off but the motor mount stays at the bottom and it makes a humming noise. I did a search but I am still confused weather this would be the motor or the switch.
