harness swap from cross fire to tpi
harness swap from cross fire to tpi
what gives the tpi harness power, all sencers are connected, ecm is connected injectors are hot but its is not getting fuel, do they pulse with the distributer, or does the fuel presure have a lot to play in pulsing, any help would greatly by appreciated, Thanks

ecm receives a singal from the dist. telling it were the engine is and fire the injectors accordling. ecm also tell the fuel pump to turn on might check to see of you have fuel pressure. should be able to check the injectors with a test light and see if they are being told to pulse.

not sure of which wires give the ecm power(pink and black one I think). most af the functions that the ecm control simply gives and takes away the ground side of the circuit. make sure you do not put a direct 12 volts to the ecm. it works off of a max of 5 volts only.
Thanks, you know I have an 86 Trans am that I took a test light to and it shows that the orange leads to the ecm are hot with the key off and on that is why I'm realy confused about the hole situation.

carb or tpi? can send you the pin out for either? if it is carb the orange wire is always the for the ecm memory. pin "c" on lower connector(pink and black) should be hot with the ign switch is on
