I just connected the harness of an 89 tuned port engine to my 83 sport edition firebird. I connected the guages and all the light accessories so far, but there doesn't seem to be anything else to connect besides a fuel pump on the car. I do have the feeling that I'm missing some major components.... Is there anything else on the chassis that i need to connect to the harness, or can i go ahead and put the engine in and finish connecting the engine? thanks

 

Are you talking about the complete engine harness or the whole body harness too?

 

i wired in the whole harness from the computer to the engine/chassis. I didn't have that many connections on the chassis though. Now all i have to do is put in the engine, and connect all the sensors and stuff. I was just wondering if in a 1983 firebird s/e there should be a lot of chassis connections to the wiring harness.
