sending unit on Radiator?

Engine: mini-rammed 350
Transmission: WC T-5
sending unit on Radiator?

About halfway down on the Passengers side of my radiator,theres a sending unit,no wire on it(cant find connector)
Its a 350 TPI,everything seems fine with car,
Just wondering what it might be,any info would be helpful,thx

I have that on mine too. I don't think its anything important. I'm not even sure if its even a sensor.

By the way, where in Eastpointe you located? I'm around 10 and Kelly.

It's for the "low coolant" light if so equipped. The original radiators at least to 89 did not have them, the replacements from GM and everbody else now come with the probe whether the car has the low coolant indicator or not.
