chip for lg4

Hi,
Is there anybody out there who knows who can burn a chip for my TA85 lg4, and wheter I MUST have one. I intend to do the following mods: headers, 3" in/out high flow cat, 3" cat-back, a somewhat hotter cam. Ive contacted Hypertech, Jet and Motorvation but none of them could help me.

thanks
Hasse

Jet wouldn't do anything? Interesting. The "Stroke in the Desert" magazine articles by Steve Green indicated they did something for him.

Personally, I got one from JC Whitney - but that was almost 5 years ago. One of these days, I'm going to put the stock one back in and see if it makes any difference.

It probably won't...

A chip doesn't do much at all for an LG4 - you need to pickup a used edelbrock micro-plus timing computer and install it.

I agree with Paul. I think you'd get as much (and save yourself some coin) by simply advancing the timing some. Note my sig. Stock chip.
