Alternator Questions

Ok guys, I've go a 1987 Chevy camaro that was a v6 car. I've switched over to a carb'd V8. With the change I decided to go with v belts instead of a serpentine. I have pretty much given up on using my factory ac delco alternator. It is the small design, and I have no clue where to start to find brackets for it. SO, to the point, when i go to hook up the old alternator, it has a two wire plug, that is different than the stock small alternator. How should I hook this up? Has anyone else here done this? ANy help would be appreciated. Ive been looking for a good guide, and I couldnt find one here, but there probably is, if so, srry.
