Viper Alarm - how to disable

the model of alarm is a Viper 300HF MAX.

the car's been sitting for the last two years with the battery out, keys in the house
the remote's battery is not dead

i'm nearing completion of the car but the alarm keeps going off and dosn't stop, i can't disarm it.
i'm 50 miles away from any alarm install shop
i don't have any manuels in the alarm box to tell me anything

any way to disarm it?

you mean to tell me that the battery is out of the car yet the security system is still active?

There has to be something feeding it power if thats the case.

sorry, i must of not been clear.. but it used to have a seperate power supply (back up).. not anymore. they cut that siren out when it got broken into and distroyed it.

anyways, i put the battery back in to see if the engine would start and to do some tuning and that's when i realized that i couldn't turn off the siren
the battery's in right now.. i cut the wires to the interrior siren, the exterior siren was removed a long time ago, so now i have flashing parking lights..

any way to disable the system?
how do you reprogram the remotes?

"IT" has to have an inline fuse somewhere and you should try to find where the alarm system is located in the car and follow the red positive wire lead,it should run to a fuse source and there you should be able to pull it and the alarm should be dead!

and if that don't work then disconnect the battery and cut the red wire fro m the alarm and then reconnect the car battery and see if it will fire up?....if that works then you are good to go!
