Burning smell

Not sure were to post this. Past 2 days had had a burnt wire smell in the car. Just installed kenwood sirius radio, but that seems to be ok. I only seem to have the smell while driving. Any ides from anyone? Would the brakes smell like that? Would love any suggestions. Scott
