I have an 83 firebird, it came with a cracked in half control panel. So I looked around to find another one , but I can't seem to find my exact one , which looks like most 3rd gen panels except mine has a chrome ring around the speed select switch that works the a/c . I bought a new panel off ebay that was a little diff. I figured how much diff. can it really
be . turns out pretty diff. .

My ? is if I get a complete panel including wire harness and cables can I just cut the wires and
match up the old wires w/the new ?
I figure it's only a diff. of a year or two. and it's the same car so it should work right ?

Some one please help .

and if anyone has the wire harness and cables I would need
