TPS sensor
i've heard of adjusting your throttle position sensor "tps'
is this true?!?! how would you go about to do it

Some can, and some can't. If you have a speed-density system like TBI or late-3rdgen TPI, then you can't.
If it's adjustable, you measure the voltage on the blue wire, loosen the two torx screws on the TPS sensor, and adjust it (by turning the whole sensor) until the voltage reads .45V.
You can tell just by looking whether or not it's adjustable. The holes in the sensor will be slotted instead of round holes.

Also, you do this at the same time you set the idle-air speed and the timing, as they all effect the idle speed.
