IAT sensor question

I am trying to use my tpi air cleaner setup for my LT1. My question is would a tpi iat sensor work in place of an lt1 iat sensor?

Doesn't look like the TPI IAT/MAT will work as a direct replacement for the LT1 IAT but still might work. Here is a link to a thread that has a thread to the TPI IAT/MAT resistance vs. temp chart. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tpi/...mat+resistance

At 70F TPI IAT is 3400 ohms.
According to the Haynes manual I have for 93-00 f-bodies, the LT1 IAT at 70F is 2700 ohms. Much closer at 190F. TPI IAT is 260ohms, LT1 IAT is 240ohms.That's kind of a difference. ??? I don't completely trust the Haynes manual though.

Really its kind of a close call.

Here is a chart on the LT1 IAT sensor for comparision. Could do some temperature conversion calculations to make them match up to the TPI chart. http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#ect

I plotted the Data on a microsoft excel chart. You could probably use the TPI sensor.
